Geophone Amp Usage
- Insert your geophone's 1/8” (3.175mm) plug into the jack labeled ‘GEO’.
- Insert an 1/8” (3.175mm) male to male aux cable, headphones, or a Bluetooth transmitter into the jack labeled ‘AUDIO’.
- Turn the volume knob clockwise to power on, and the LED will light.
- Adjust the volume knob to vary the output volume.
- Adjust the gain knob to increase signal strength. Keep the gain as low as possible to minimize signal noise.
Power Options
Battery Replacement
- The device uses 4xAA batteries.
- Remove the four Phillips head screws on the front and pull the faceplate out to expore the batteries.
Optional Power Supply
The device can also be powered with an external 8-16VDC power source. The device will use power from the DC jack when detected - no need to remove the batteries.
